Ovation is GAACC's celebration during Asian Pacific American (APA) Heritage Month, when we recognize businesses and organizations who have made contributions to the economic success of the region, and toast APA individuals and organizations who have achieved uncommon success and/or are working to make our community a better place.
Our 2019 Lifetime Achievement Award honoree is Simon Tam, founder of all-Asian American band The Slants who won Supreme Court battle to keep band name.
