Every year at Ovation, the Greater Austin Asian Chamber of Commerce honors those who exemplify excellence in their fields in the local business community. The GAACC also honors a lifetime achievement award winner who has exemplified excellence and success in the broader Asian-American community.

Previous lifetime achievement award winners include Dr. Lisa Su (CEO of Advanced Micro Devices), William Wang (Founder of Vizio), Norman Mineta (Former Secretary of Commerce and first Asian-American to hold a Presidential Cabinet post), and Sada Cumber (Former Special Envoy to the Organization of the Islamic Conference).
